H1B Documents for vistor stamping when H1B is under tranfer

Recently, i joined another company and my HIB is still under tranfer and it might take couple of weeks to get the approval. I have taken appointment for my In-laws and i need to send the H1B approval along with rest of the docuements that a Sponsor has to send. I doubt that i may not receieve the documents before their appointment. Is there way to convince the US consulate officer in india for not being able to present the approval documents.

I appreciate any help on this..
