How important is the father's and mother's affidavit???

Just wondering how important is the fathers mother affidavit???
Is it required or is it just one of those docs you would be safe having??

No I am talking about the mother and father''s affidavit... that has been posted on immihelp... how important is it... anyone experienced about this... and when do you submit it???

Its a doc safe to have. We never know what they will ask. U need only one affidavit from parents though...
