Port of Entry

Has anyone had an experience with a parents who does not speak any English and what happens at the port of entry? Someone gave me suggestions but i want to hear from people who have actually experienced that.
Also, has anyone ever been asked for a return air ticket at the port of entry?

1. That's no problem. There will always be other Indians who arrived in the same flight. Officer usually asks one of those people to be translator.

2. Yes, many are asked.

We have the same case. My inlaws are comming and they can't speak english fluently. So i have written a letter to POE statingthe # of days parents will stay . etc and mentioned about their return tkts. So incase if they ask such questions they can give that letter to the officer.
