My parents got rejected two times in two years under sec 214(b)

Since my parents got rejected visitors visa this year also. i am trying to figure out what went wrong with the documents, that VO rejected their visa for the second time this year too.

i need the following information:
do the parents required to show the W2 to the VO if she/he ask for visitors documents. or just handover all the documents except the W2. in my parents case they had given everything including my W2,to VO and she took lot of time reading my W2 and after few minutes she said sorry, your son could not afford you in USA and we cannot issue you a visa . so come next year.

i think it was just because she saw my W2,
one should avoid showing them the W2 but can present them the Tax papers.
i heard somewhere in immihelp that we should not show them our W2 is it true?
what are the important documents we should show them when they ask for visitors documents, especially w2 & tax papers returns.

i would really appreciate if someone can post this at the earliest.

There is no such rule to hide/show specific document.
It is better to show all documents...
Well if the VO rejects after looking at W2 saying " cannot afford", either that may be becuase in that you had less income/irregular income.
VOs consider financial stability of the sponsor (like salary, bank balance etc) while issuing visa, so please make sure that you can send all support docs as well
