Documents to send to VFS in advance, supporting documents as well ?

Hi,

My parents have a tourist visa interview scheduled in Sept.
What all documents should they send to VFS in advance ?
Check list on the VFS website says only DS forms and HDFC receipt.

Do they also need to send copies of supporting documents as well ?

I asked the same question to VFS mumbai and following is their reply:
----------------
You need to submit the DS- forms and the Yellow receipt and the photocopies
of passport to the US Visa Application centre 5 working days prior to your
appointment date.

Kindly submit the documents according to the "checklist to create packet "
given in the download column.



All the supporting documents have to be carried on the day of the Interview
only.

Documents should be carried according to the guidance sheet given.

for the same.

But Immihelp says that I should also send the supporting docs, I am confused could someone throw some light on this ?
