Need Urgent Info about Tourist Visa..

Hi,

My parents have got 10 years multiple entry tourist visa. My mom visited us in Nov 2005 and she left in april 2006. She stayed all 6 months in US till 2 days before her I94 was expired. I would like to her visit again. Is there any particular condition that she can come only after 6 months from the day she left US? I would like her to travel in September 2006. Will there be any problem in the port of enttry if she comes before 6 months gap. Please let me know the criterias for her to re-enter US.

There is no criteria set by the law. It all depends on the
purpose of the visit which should match the duration of the stay. There are businessmen who visit US twice a month without any problems.

In your mother's case, it should not be a problem, 5 months is good enough
a gap period for a parent. In a rare circumstance, if she is quizzed on why she is back again after spending 6 months, she can say her visit will be short this time; 3-4 months.
