Urgent: What document should I send to VFS in advance ?

Hi,

My parents have a tourist visa interview scheduled in Sept at Mumbai.
What all documents should they send to VFS in advance ?
Check list on the VFS website says only DS forms and HDFC receipt.

Do they also need to send copies of supporting documents as well ?

I asked VFS, Mumbai and they said only DS forms and HDFC receipt but immihelp says supporting document as well.

Please someone help to clear my confusion.

you are required to submit following documents only after scheduling online appmt a minimum of 5 day prior to your appmt.
1.Original DS156
2. Original DS157
3. DD for Rs. 2300/-
4. Orginal HDFC receipt-consulate copy-yellow sticky
5. Copy of passport -first and last page and any other remark page
6.Copy of the interview letter
7. Checklist

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS TO BE TAKEN ONLY AT THE TIME OF THE INTERVIEW.

Their website as well as the checklist with the appmt letter is mentioning supporting documents but there are not required for Visitors visa as confirmed by the VFS personnel.

DD of RS 2400/-

Dahlia is right, only thing is since visa issuance fees has increased, you need to carry DD of RS 2400/-

I sent exactly 7 documents to Mumbai consulate for my parents. I called Mumbai consulate, VFS and checked the list, it is correct, confirmed!

Can you explain what "7. checklist " would have?????
My parents didnt apply online - and they already sent

for which they got an appt letter in return.... back in march when they applied at mumbai consulate.

Do they need to send the checklist -( not sure what all goes in the checklist??????)
