    "TOURIST VISA" ?

I am going to US with my wife onlyfor honemoon and dont know anybody there, well, I know a few guys, but dont want favor from them..

I am my wife have visited :
    UK ( 2 year Visa )
    Australia
    New Zealand
    France
    Germany
    Italy
    Singapore

among the list of better countries..
We want to go to US for a holiday / honeymoon , whatever it is to be taken as.

If I do not carry the Invitation letter on date of interview, will they reject our visas ?

Hi. Each visa interview is different as per the case. It is advised to have invitation letter, BUT having it does not guarantee you will be granted a visa. My interview was 10 August. I am 32 and married, plus my wife is American citizen. I self sponsored, and did not have invitation letter, although I was planning to stay with my wife's friend's family. I too had been to several other countries outside India...all first world countries. I had all other documents...financial, NOCfrom company,. marriage papers etc. I made a cover letter, written in bulletin points and scanned onto Rs 20 stamp paper and had this notarised. This cover letter I placed inside my passport (as recommended by this site's members) after my required documents were checked at the Embassy. This letter stated all my strong ties to India. All that was asked of me to show were my NOC, marriage papers and wife's passport, as she is here with me for last four years. Visa was granted. Even though you carry all documents, interview is the key. Be confident, and assure VO of your ties and intended return to India. Hope this helps, and best of luck
