Father visiting US

My father got an appointment for January 2007. I am currently working on L2 visa with proper EAD. As i am on dependant visa my husband would be the sponsor.

1.In immihelp it is written that for sponsoring in laws spouse's(in this case mine) birth certificate is required.Do we also need to send my husband's birth certificate?

2. As we keep our savings in ING direct a/c and keep very less amount in our checking a/c in a different bank would showing statement of ING direct a/c would be okay?

1. Your birth cert. and marriage certificate(original) is must. Your husband's birth certificate is good to have.
2. Its fine to have letter from ING only as far as you can show enough fund to support your visitor.
