I am a citizen of Sri Lanka, presently in USA in F2 status. I got admission in a University in USA for MS program with Teaching Assistanceship. I need to change my status to F1 to register. The final date for registration is 25th August 06, just 4 days remaining. How can I change the status? What is the minimum period required for this change? Is it possible to go to Canada & change the status within a short period? What is the best method to do it quickly?
