Visitor Visa Sponsorship.

My dad has a business in India and can suport his own expenses for coming and staying in US. However I put myself as the sponsor on DS156.
Now I am having second thoughts. Would the odds of getting a VISA improve if he shows that he has enough money, runs a business and can support himself, rather than showing me as a sponsor?

Same thing as my in-laws case, they can do self-sponsor but I sponsored the visa and they got 10-years multiple entry visa. They carried all their business docs, like tax returns, property papers, partnership papers, visiting cards etc but none of those docs were asked. So it is fine, you sponsoring the visa as long as you can sponsor their trip.
