Not able to find Telugu appt dates

I am looking for my M-I-L for visa appt dates in Telugu and cant find any dates, the system says 'Dates not available'
Can someone tell when dates are available and what times (EST) are good to check for open slots in Telugu.

the dates will be opened every Quarter. Again the dates will open in October.
But check in between too. coz, due to some cancellations u have a chance of getting dates.

Well, I don’t think there is any specific period to open the dates. It may all depend on slots and/or VOs availability.
I would suggest checking regularly.

Manjeera, Can you please share the link with all of us where did you find this “the dates will be opened every Quarter. Again the dates will open in October."

Today morning around 3:00AM ( US PST ). I saw availability in September on18,19,20,21st dates. I was able to prepone my parents appointment.

So, just keep trying.

Also, few times I saw appointments opening on Sunday nights ( means Monday afternoon as for India standard time ).

Congratulations on being able to prepone your parents' appointments.

Were they 'Telugu' Appts that were opened this morning? If so, I would be more than happy to get one for my MIL. But, my understanding is that it is very rare (or impossible) to get telugu appt cancelled slots. I see several 'English' slots if I keep trying, but have never seen telugu slots for the past few days. May be I should start trying at different timings.

All the appointments that I tried are telugu appointments only. Morning appointments were also Telugu appointments only.

Yes I was able to pre-pone. Yes, system allowed me to do pre-ponement.
First I pre-poned my Mom's appointment and then I pre-poned my dad's appointment. Luckily both got the appointments on the same date and same time.

I went thru by clicking on the link of "Reschedule / Cancel Appointment" and followed the instructions. Since application is already stored, we don't have to fill any information except some basics.

Hope it is clear.

Did you originally book a 'joint' appointment for your parents? If so, did the system let you pre-pone 'individually'? If so, do they still qualify as 'joint' applicants or do they have to attend the interview separately?

Your post is a boost for all those who claim/assume that one can never pre-pone the appointment, but can only post-pone.

I'm surprised that the system allows you to pre-pone the appointment dates.
I tried the same but I am only able to postpone the date, not prepone.

When I check from visa date availibility I see one or two dates in Jan/Feb (my initial appt date is March 6, 07). But when I tried to click 'reschedule/cancel appt' and tried to reschedule it shows me appts after March 13.

Let me know, I am seriously trying to prepone and need timings when is good to try.

Yes, Even I didn't believed in pre-ponement. I could able to pre-pone after trying for so many times. I had to get up in the middle of the night to reschedule the appointment. I am thinking may be there are multiple appointments available on that day when I tried. Also, I saw the availability for four days from Sep. 18 to Sep. 21st.


Yes, originally I booked the joint appointment for my parents. Later I tried to reschedule separately ( it allowed me to reschedule separately, there is check box aginst each applicant that you can select ). I guess, since both got the same appointment dates and times, they can be considered as "Joint" appointments. Atleast I will ask them to go together.
