Sponsorship question

In the D-156 form, should we fill daughter/son as the sponsor or the parents itself? What is recommended? We wish to sponsor our parents and want to know if it matters if we fill something else in 156 and answer son/daughter as the sponsor during visa interview.

Also, what is the bank balance need to be shown to sponsor parents, mother and father?

What other documents are required?

Make sure that the applicant says same thing as per documents they submit. Don’t have conflicting answers.
If you want to sponsor you need to send some documents. Visit https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visitor...sor-documents/ for the list of documents and additional information.
If you want your parents to self-sponsor, they need to have good property, ~15-20L bank balance etc.
If you want sponsor, you need 5K+ per applicant. VOs also consider regular income flow in addition to bank balance.

Thanks for response, but if I put in daughter as the sponsor in D156 form.
Can I send both of us bank statements for the sponsorship or do I have to send only mine bank statement?

SHould I put daughter and son-in-law both in 156 form for us both to send the combined bank statements.
