Whether UK visa approval will help my mom to get US Visa?

My father expired before my birth. I am the only child. My uncle (Mama) is UK citizen since last 50 yrs. Can my mom get citizenship of UK( her brother and sis are still in India) ? if yes whether it will help her getting US visa ? or only the vistior visa to UK can also help her in getting US visa. Please suggrst.

I donot know about the UK citizenship part; but I know chances of getting
a US visitor visa are more if you have traveled to european countries.
