US Tourist VISA : Sponser's Documents

All,

I'm (currently in USA) is sponsoring tourist VISA for my parents. I shipped all my docs to my parents in Mumbai to submit to VFS.

When my father took all docs to VFS (to sumbit them), they did not take them, saying just take the sponsor's docs at the time of interview.

I believe, even sponsor's docs need to be submitted to VFS, but now confused.

Please let me know if there is any change in latest procedures.

Look towards the bottom of the page https://www.immihelp.com/usa-visitor...tor-documents/ to see what documents they are supposed to take.

They are not supposed to take all the documents. They take only the basic required documents. You carry rest of them to the interview.

and check documents need to be delivered at VFS (b4 the interview). (Mumbai Consulate)

But, sponser's docs were not accepted and asked to bring them at interview only.
Is it OK ?

What ever the docs VFS needs in advance they wld collect in advance, rest of the docs needs to be carried on the day of interview
