I-134 Question 10

Friends,

I am not able to understand this question 10.

10. That I have submitted visa petition(s) to the Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services (CIS) on behalf of the following person(s). If none, state none.

I have not sponsored anyone for IMMIGRANT VISA. But I have sponsered my parents and in-laws for Visitor visa in 1998 and 2001.

So should I put NONE for Question 10 ?


Also my parents visited in 1998 on a 6 month visa but stayed only for 3 months 18 days well withing the time alloted.

What should I be concerned about aka why could they be rejected ? How to make sure the VO knows about the fact that they came back on time ?

PS: When my parents came last time dad was retired but mom was working, now both are retired. They dont want to stay for more than 4-5 months since they are busy in India and dont have anything to do here. Can they tell like that if asked about coming back ?

I remember one of earlier posts which said no need to include if it is more than 3 years old. Please search in this forum. (I will try paste the link once I found it)

Include last visit details, saying that they returned before visa/I94 expired. Include all the ties in your document. They should be fine. All the best
