i have visited usa in 2004 along with my wife on visitors visa issued by chennai consulate. the visa stamp bears letter "M" under the title entries which I understands for multiple. However the expiry date was stated as
12th Dec 2004 at that time. we have returned to india on 8th dec 2004. what i want to know is if we want to travel to usa now have we follow all the procedure as if its a new visa application or since it is a multiple visa is there any difference in procedure. please .guide me in this regard

You have to go for new visa as visa is already expired.
Multiple indicates that you can enter US many times within the visa validity date

Your parents have a valid visa to travel any number of times to USA until 2014. They don't have to apply for anything, all they need to do is buy tickets, fly and enjoy.
