Problem retreiving saved appln

Hi, I had saved a VFS appln for my father, but everytime I try to retrieve it, I get a page which says 'please select visa type' . Can anyone help? Thanks.

i hope you are entering all the correct information as entered in your original application. is it a joint applicaiton for your parents or is it just your dad?

Thanks for the reply. Atually its a joint appln for my parents. Im not able to move on into the appln itself, the problem is occuring after I fill in the information page. I guess Ill have to start a new appln.

I did not understand the problem you are facing. If you think it is browser related, try using a different browser. I have read an earlier post that using Internet Explorer solved the problem.

You can not make a new appointment because you will get a message stating 'your HDFC receipt has already been used'. Hence, you need to be able to open up your original application.

If you haven't made the appointment yet and just saved the application, then wait for 7 days and it will be automatically deleted from the system and then you can start fresh.

I faced same problem myself. I had create another one. I think you cannot save application (there is no button!) until you fill DS156 completely first. Then you can save and fill DS157 later.
