Bank account verification letter

Hi,

I have a question regarding the bank account verification letter. After about a month of talking to customer service of Bank of America and communicating my requirements very clearly, I still don't have an Original account verification letter on their letterhead. It is indeed on their letterhead, but it's a photocopy!!

Additionally they also state some bizarre "security" rule for not giving the account verification letter at the bank directly but instead put the customers thru a rough experience of requesting them over the phone and yet not provide it on the original letterhead

Would the above be okay or is an original absolutely needed?

Go to the local bank branch where u have opened account and request them to give letter.

And if they still dont listen, threaten them with taking your business away to another bank. That should definitely work.

That sucks.... most of the banks know what bank letter is for immigration visa purpose... I would threaten them!
