Parents asked to reschedule appt in telugu

Hi All,
My parents had an english appointment today. The visa officer after talking
to them asked them to reschedule the appt. in telugu.
What is the procedure to reschedule from english to telugu without
cancelling the existing appt. Has anyone does this before?

The current appointment gets cancelled but your receipt still may be valid.
You cannot change language without cancelling current appointment.

when iam trying to retrieve the application i am getting this error msg.

"You cannot modify your saved application with in 2 working days before the date of your interview. For appointments scheduled at Mumbai Consulate, you cannot reschedule your appointment with in 5 working days before the date of your interview."

What procedure should i follow?.

It will take 2 to 3 days to reactivate. Try after two days.
You have to refill all the information. I did the same way for my parents.

My parents appointment was in Chennai at that time.
