Typical Wait Time for a Visa Interview Appointment

Hi Everybody,

Can anyone please let me know the estimated waiting time to get visa interview appointment at chennai for visitor visa? When I went to VFS website to schedule an appointment for my parents it shows that the earliest available interview date is March 2006. But in the immihelp website it says that typical waiting time for visa interview date is 22 days. Am I doing something wrong?
Please help me.

The 22 days that you are seeing may be "old" information.

If you need an appt in regional language, there is about 6-8 months of wait time currently at Chennai consulate. As of today, you can get regional appointments for Apr-07.
