Tamil dates are available for April 2007

I just booked an appointment in Tamil for my parents around 11:30PM 09/17 PST. I had seen whole April was available.

My 3 month wait is finally over.

Hello,

I saw your post and you have booked an appointment for your parents on April 2007 in Tamil. I am totally new to this VFS site and I am trying to book an appointment for my parents in Tamil. Could you please let me know the procedure?. I would really appreciate if you can answer my questions.

1. I thought we can book an appointment using the passport number?. But it looks like we need to get HDFC DD even before you apply. Am I right?.
2. In that case, you asked your parents to get a DD from HDFC bank and then you booked thru the VFS website. Am I right?. Did you use DD number or receipt number?.
3. How did you mange to get a date in Tamil?. Because whenever I searched any date in Tamil , it shows nothing but in English I see dates from March 9th.
4. Things (Checklist) I need to book an appointment?.
5. Is it a good thing to call the VFS office in Chennai and have them do it?

I am trying to understand the procedure so that I can do it from here, since my parents are old and they are not able to understand the process when they talked to VFS people yesterday. It would be very helpful if you could share any information.
