What are my options? appt prepone

I booked my mother appt on Feb 8th for Telugu in Chennai. Now I would like to try for getting some thing before end of this year appt.

If I see any thing opens up before Jan-07, How do I reschedule it? What is the precedure? I really looked into old archives and I didn't find any answer to this.

Do I have to cancel first and look all over again?
