My MIL is going for the interview on Monday. She is going to be sponsered by her son. Please let me know what all documents I need to send especially original copies. Also, let me know the docs her son should provide.

1. Affidavit of support I-134 original.
2. Supporting bank statements, salary slip, CPA certification
of income in case of self-employed.original.
3. An invitation letter by son addressed to the visa officer, US embassy/consulate.
describing his visa/job status in US and extending an invitation
to his mom for------period, requesting a grant of a visitor visa. original
4. Copies of son's passport, visa and a birth certificate mentioning
his mom's name.
5. In addition, his mom will need some documents showing her ties to India,
bank statements, IT returns, salary slip, job cum leave letter if employed.

Your husband should be sending an invitation letter to his mother , addressed to the visa consular, explaining his visa/job status in US,
and that he is extending an invitation to his mother for -------purpose and period.
And a birth certificate copy with his mother's name on it.
A copy of his passport and visa.
I think it is better for your MIL to say that she is spending her own
money from her savings( show good deposits) for the trip.
If she cannot, she should show funds owned by her son in India, his IT returns, deposits, business accounts, job evidence or salary slip whatever applicable.
Also, he should send an affidavit with his mother stating that he will be
affording his mother's trip to US for Rs........
