My brother got rejected for B2 visitor visa.

Hi,
I'm a US Citizen, and my brother 28 in India, just applied and got rejected for a visitor visa, he applied on his own, showing all the assets and property. He didnt mention that he was going to visit me in USA, is that the reason he got rejected, How can he improve the chances of getting a visitor visa next time he applies in 6 months. Should I sponsor him to visit me next time!

He should always tell the truth in the application to improve the chances.
