visa dates available for telugu and doc.s needed to show strong ties to home country

I could see many dates available in telugu yesterdat night 10pm PST in March 2007 and could book the appt. for Jan 4th 07 when I finally finished all the forms.
Good luck for those who are searching for dates! Typically I could see them at 10:00 pm PST for two days at the same time.
Any ideas on when the Hyd consulate is opening?
Also what are the chances for the Visa for my Aunt who is in 40's who has family and her son studying in India?
What documentation is needed for her to show them that her visit is temporary?

Hyd consulate will be opening beginning of 2008. They dropped the idea of temorary building opening in late 2007.

I am looking for prepone of my mom's visa slot. She has in March and i would like to prepone.
Can somebody please answer

1. Shell i have to cancel and re-enter all the data whenever i see some dates?.
2. If i cancel her present data, can i immidiately book another date?.

The reason why i didn't cancel is, if i wont get anyting earlier i may loose the existing one as well.

Most of the times advancing date is not allowed without cancelling current date. The risk is that you may loose current date as well if you cannot get earlier date.
If you cancel current appointment, all data will be erased and you need to enter all again.
Yes, you can make another date immediately if it is available.
One more thing... you can cancel appointment just 2 times and after that your HDFC receipt gets deactivated for 60 days.
