Questionnaire for visitor visa

Hi everyone

I sponsored my parents for visitor visas. Although Mom got a 10 year visa, Dad was asked to submit clarification regarding his employment (he is 71 and retired for over 10 years). He replied to a questionnaire via e mail as recommeded and was asked to wait for 4 weeks. Its now 6 weeks and still no progress in his status when checked online

Does anyone have a similar experience?

Hi

It was a set of questions pertaining to his previous job. He was asked to provide details of his job, list of publications, submit his CV and detail places he visited abroad.
