  • doubt about employer letter and bank letter for visitor visa

Is it required to produce two seperate bank letter, employer letter(1 origenal for each applicant) for both of my parents or one is enough.

we have asked our bank to give a letter containg account opening date, amount deposited, average balance... etc on bank letterpad. But they gave only a black and white print out without sign. So notarization is required?

There is a mismatch of my parent names in my passport. Their names are misspelled in my passport. Can you tell me the required steps?

I already send my 10 th certificate xerox. Non availability of Date of Birth and affidavites from relatives are also taking. Is it enough to send xerox copy of 10 th certificate or origenal is required?

    Bank Letter

As far as the bank letter, the I-134 instructions say this:

"Statement from an officer of the bank or other financial institution where you have deposits, ..."

My interpretation of this is that it has to look official; meaning it should be in the Bank's official letter-pad or other standard stationery, and signed by some bank officer.

A notary will not be able to attest that the details in the bank letter are correct, unless you can prove that to him/her by an independent means.

The safest thing would be to ask your bank to issue a proper account verification letter on printed bank stationery and with someone's signature on it.
