Trying to reschedule parent's appointment date-pls help!

my parents have an appointment date for mid Feb 2007..when i tried to reschedule by clicking the Reschedule button (like mentioned in the previous posts), i got a later date than what we already have..
can someone tell me if i am getting this because of 2 people's appointment at the same time?
if i just look at the available date, i see dates available for november..in that case why do those dates not appear for me?

There are lot of appoint ments available now (7:20AM CST). Just cancel and re-apply. You will NOT be able to pre-pone the appointment

generally, if dates are shown are available using link to know available date those may not be acctually available when you go thru reschedule link that is becase those dates may be single person per slot and if you have more than one in your appointment that may not be available to you.
Try thru reschedule link to change the dates. (per prev posts it looks like it is possible to advance appointment dates)
There is a risk involved in cancelling appointment (you may both dates, and HDFC receipt gets deactivate after 2 cancellations etc)

preponing through rescheduling does not work for mumbai

My parents had an appointment on March 20 and when I saw dates available in all months leading to March, so I decided to reschedule to see if they will let me prepone it. They would not. It said no dates available. So I had to cancel, fill out all the information all over again (total pain) and then the dates available were much less than what I had seen on the estimate page. Fortunately I got an appointment in January.

Thanks guys, but i dont want to cancel the appointment and reschedule. I guess i will have to stick with whatever dates we have.
