  • Co-sponsoring my parents

    Hi All,

    Please advise.

Can me & my wife sponsor my parents together? If yes, then:

    1. Do we need to prepare separate I-134 and sponsor letters etc.?
    2. Would this create some sort of confusion with the consular officer(I don't want to take any cahnces)?

The reason for co-sponsoring is that we have spearate bank accounts and separate assets. So showing just one persons bank balance won't be sufficient. I have given both our names as sponsor in the DS-156 form which I entered online at the vfs website.

Waiting for response with bated breath....
