Dear All,
scheduled tourist visa interview for my parents-in-law in chennai yday. we took english appt as we cud not find dates for tamil. also my father-in-law is ok with english. so we took that appt. But visa was denied.
the visa officer questioned them abt whom they are going to visit, how many children they have (told 2 daughters and one son. two daughters here and son in India) , then asked their property docs. My F-i-l showed the notary lr which he got from a CA showing his house worth Rs. 30lakhs(US$62k+), (other supporting docs viz., pension book, banks docs, house docs, etc., but the officer didn't see anything including the CA lr.)
I believe this amt is quite sufficient to support their stay here. But he was issued 214b and visa was denied. the reason is still unclear for denial. pls guide.
my sis-in-law though is here in US, she lives elsewhere and is occupied with her job & family. so very little help only I can expect during this stage.
It wud really be grt if my Parents--in-law support me and my wife at this time.
what to do now? we are all highly worried as to what to do next.
I cud find some tamil appointments in the site now. can i schedule a tamil appointment again for them next month? pls guide !!!
Thanks & Regards,
Andy
