Getting B2 Visa from a Different Country.

Hi,

My native is Chennai, but presently I am in Doha, Qatar. I am a student in the US and have a F1 visa. My mom is visiting me in Doha and will be here for sometime. I am wondering whether there will be any problems if I apply for a B2 visa for my mom from here (Doha, Qatar). Any suggestions ?

NO, not advised. US immigration prefers people to apply in their native countries where the staff is familiar with local conditions.
She will be asked to apply in India, if she applies in DOha. She will be wasting her time and money.
