Can we book two appointments on one person's name?

Does anyone know if we can get two HDFC receipts and book two appointments at different timings and dates on one person's passport? Does the system allow us to do this?

Can we take a new HDFC receipt after cancelling the appointment for 2 times on a person's name? The new receipt would be on the same person. Is it possible?

URGENT - I need to prepone my mother-in-law's appointment from March to November. I already cancelled it one time when I changed the appointment from English to Telugu. This time I want to prepone the appointment, but since this is second time, the barcode will be deactivated for 90 days.

So I am looking for the above mentioned option.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

i had a smiliar situation.. yes, u can go ahead and take a new reciept and book the avaible dates.. the system will allow u.. but do make sure that u will have the older one cancelled after u book the new one.

Or u will have questions asked by the VO/


after i got the reciept they say, we need to wait for 2 days until the receipt is activated.. but i kept trying and for my luck after 30 hrs it was activated.. and i was able to book the appointment. i got the date for nov 29th.. but i need to cancethe apointment for april 2nd only on monday at the vfs centre.. coz i had got that booked the first appointment there..this time i did it online myself.

Did the bank refund on cancellation of appontments on first receipt.If so how much they deducted.pl.ost for gen.information.

Though you cancelled once, I think the system will let you prepone the appt if there are any openings. You can't cancel twice (or may be thrice recently) and/or you can't reschedule twice. But, you can cancel once and reschedule once without the issue of deactivation of the HDFC receipt.

My personal experience: I preponed my MIL's appt from Feb07 to Jan07. Then, I came across openings in Nov06. I tried to prepone again and the system warned me stating 'You can not reschedule second time. You need to cancel and rebook'. I was able to cancel and take a fresh appt for Nov06. So, I rescheduled once and cancelled once without any deactivation to the HDFC reciept.

i had a doubt.I had taken first time my mother appiontment.one day i want to reschedule it and i just pressed reshedule and 'Confirm reschedule' but after that it shows 'no dates pop up'.So i worried if the original appiontment is there or not.
i went to apply for non-immigrent visa and after that'download confirm and reschedule appiontment' to check..but it still exsists i.e. i can find her details in confirmed appiontment..

is my mother appiontment safe...i am tense
