Visitor visa question

My mom have visited us last year on b2 visa. If she wants to visit us again next year, what is the procedure? Do we need to re-apply for her visa and appear for an interview in person? Is there option to mail all documents to INS? Also her visa is valid till october 31st, is there any option to extend visa?

She can enter US any time before the current visa expires, even on the last day. Actual stay given will be determined at the port of entry by the date stamp in I-94.

Once the visa expires, if she wants to enter again, she has to apply all over again. No mailing allowed.
