need some suggestion

hi,
I need some suggestion in this. My US b1/b2 visa ia valid till Jan 4,
2007. I am going for my step 3 USMLE and some residency interviews in the month of
november. I have some interviews in the month of jan and first of that
being 17. I cant stay that long in US as i have a JOb back home.

I have got my intial visa from Delhi US embassy through the TTS
service that time. Now should apply in delhi again but i have no proof
to show that i am residing in delhi or should i apply in chennai
embassy stating that i have interviews in the month of Jan. so far i
have got only one in the month of Jan.

How are the chances of getting the visa second time in chennai
embassy. Should i state that i have a intv in month of jan...do they
accept email confirmation of the same.

Suppose they deny me a second entry to US, then i have doubt if they will
cancel my present valid visa also.

I'd advise you to come back in Nov and leave again on the first or 2nd of Jan,thus entering US before the visa expiry. Once you have entered legally,
it won't matter if the visa will expire during your stay in US. The important thing then will be the date on your I-94 and not your visa.

This way you will not have to risk a denial of a new visa . And if they will deny you , they will definitely cancel your existing visa too.
