My parents got Visa -Tamil Interview,Chennai
Hi all,
My parents got the B2 visa approved today.
Our background info

My father is a retired policeman and mother is a house wife. My sister got married and living in India. Myself and my wife are working in USA, no kids.
Senior Citizens

It seems Senior citizens were asked to stand separately and interview was done quickly.
Visa Qn

An American and Indian VO interviewed my parents. Interview was in Tamil and the following qn were asked
1)During Coimbatore bomb blast where were you?
My dad said that he was working in coimbatore only at that time. But he was in Coimbatore rural police and bomb blast was investigated by Coimbatore city police.
2)Is there any proof that you were police man?
My father showed his Pension book. It seems the American VO went thru all the forms(DS-156,DS-157, passport,pension book....)
3)How many kids do you have?
One son and one daughter.Daughter got married and living in India.
Finally they said they have been granted visa.
