Pink Slip- Chennai- Pls Help

Hello,

4 of my in-laws went for their tourist visa on 10/16. Three of them got their visas but my sister-in-law was given a pink slip with a case number and told to check on the web site after 4 weeks. Does anybody have any experience with pink slip and how long will it take. Family reunion is planned for christmas & new year and We really don't know what to do. My sister-in-law is a teacher but her husband & son are not coming with her. I know for sure she is not a possible immigrant.

I will appreciate any feedback or Anyway i can speed up the process.

Hi Arundl,

I had the same issue with my father's visa. I'd suggest you to keep checking thier web site for the status. Also, call the consulate to get further information. In my dad's instance, after few months, it was approved. I really dont know what else to suggest, except i know how discouraging it feels for the applicant and the sponsoror. Please take a look at my previous posts, maybe it'll give you an idea.
