  • No tax return available for 2005 and 2004

I am applying for my parents Visa (B2), my father owns a small business (earning less that 100,000 rs/year). He is missing last two years IT returns, this year IT return is available.

Will there be a problem in getting the Visa in this case, Do they ask for the 3 year return or will one year would be sufficient.

Generally, tax returns may be asked to VOs if they want to verify income of visitors. Many times, they even may not look at all the documents. Let your parents show current year tax returns when asked and let explain more if asked for previous year’s returns.

      thanks

Thanks Ram for the reply, I was kind of worried what shud we explain if they ask for previous year. Saying that we don't have for the previous could cause some problems right?
any suggestions what shud we say in this case...
