  • Mother's Visitor Visa Rejected.Should I wait for 6 months for INS Appointment.

    Hi All,

My Mother's Visitor Visa Was rejected and I am planning to get another appointment for her. Few people told that i have to wait for another 6 months to take an appointment else INS may reject the visa again, but they are not sure.

Can someone who is sure of this, kindly let me know and it will be a great help.

according to my personal experience, i would say yes, wait for 6 to 8 months....i did the same mistake and my parents visa got rejected again without any reason...the officer didn't even ask a single question......then i waited for 1 year and finally got the visa

Shekhar - You don't need to wait for 6 months to reapply. The Visa Officer will make the decision based on application forms, supporting documents and interview. My mother-in-law got her visa rejected first time. She went back within a month and got the visa. I know couple of people who went back within a week and got the visa.

      Hope this helps.
