L2 Visa holder as main sponsor

Hi,

Would like to know whether L2 visa holder can sponsor instead of L1. Basically, L1 visa holder is getting only allowance in US but L2 visa holder is getting US salary. And so, we are thinking of putting L2 visa holder as main sponser and L1 as additional sponsor. Will there be any problem ?
