I am on a L2 Visa and working with EAD. Our parents have an appointment in Dec at chennai consulate for B2 visa.
My husband is going to sponsor their trip (though I am working as a contractor I don't have substantial employer documents like appoinment letter and tax returns so we decided he is going to be the sole sponsor). I started working during this year (2006) only. So we are planning to show his salary income only.
While completing the I-134 I am confused about Q.8. Do we need to mention me as a dependent or not? If we have to mention me as dependent whether it is wholly dependent/Partially dependent?
Above all what is the meaning of dependency here? whether it is financial dependency or Visa dependency? If it is financial dependency then I am not a dependent as I am earning good salary.
Appreciate your thoughts/suggestions on this.
