Info about Affidavit

Hi

How many affidavits does the visitor need to make, according to this, there is only one affidavit showing the property information and family ties...

Is there a need to make two separate affidavits one to show property/assets/income and another to show family ties and assurance to come back...

Can some one who went recently to chennai for visitor visa clarify this?

No affidavits are really required. And it is ridiculous to make an affidavit about ties. They assess ties from their questions not on an affidavit.

Remember , documents have only secondary importance. Many decisions
are made on your answers only.

If they do look at any Indian papers, they will ask for original papers and
not affidavits. Original papers will be tax returns, original property deeds, salary slips if employed, balance sheets if in business, and original statements of bank deposits.
If you wish to summarize your assets, you can have a CA do it on his
letter head but you must carry originals as well.
