Parents applying separately

Hi.

My father's visa interview date is in May 2007.
If my mother applies earlier for Nov 2006, will visa officer see that my father is scheduled next? Will it affect my mother's visa?

They have been rejected 3 times when they applied together. Now I am trying to call them to US one after another.

Please share your ideas/experiences.
