Passport, I-94 dates, V-VISA interview.

When I travelled back last month, while my H1-B VISA had a date running till Oct/2007, the VISA officer set a date of July/2007 in my I-94. Reason being that my passport( old ) was to expire in July/2007.

Now I got my new passport from the local Indian embassy. Given my currently situation [ PP : Expiry 2016, VISA : Oct/2007 ( 9th renewal after that ) ]...

1. Would it affect my parents application ?
2. How many years are they expected to get ( 1 year only ) ?
3. Will they multiple-entry ?

2 & 3. It has nothing to with your visa situation. It is very subjective and there is no way to know how long visa they will get.
