Visa got approved for my Parents
Hi,
Visa got approved for my parents on 11/02 at Kolkata Consulate office. I don't know the period for which the Visa is approved. We are waiting for the Passport.
Overally, the visa interview process was very friendly. The VO was an american and very cordial with my parents. My mother needed an Iterpreter but there was no interpreter at that time. So the VO Asked my father to take the role of interpreter. My father gladly accepted that.
I had sent my sponsor documents with a table of content. I had about 50 pages of documents. At the counter before going for interview, the Clerk at the counter specifically asked for all the documents which I had sent. Also they had asked for the NOC certificate for my Father (My Father is a Govt. Employee).
Questions asked to My Mother,
1) Are you going to US alone? If yes who is going with you?
Questions asked to my Father,
1) How Many Childre you have? and what are they doing?
2) What do you do?
3) Do you have any properties in India? if yes what all?
Thats it....VO said that your Visa has been approved.
I got lot of information from the website. All the required documents and Affdiavit templets. This Website is really helpfull for all Kind of visa aspirants. Keep up the good job guys.
