I-94 Expiry and Visitor Visa

Hi, Please advise!
My H1-B and I-94 expires on July 1, 07. I will be applying for an extension in the month of January or so.

Should I wait for the extension apporval before applying for a visitor visa for my parents??? I am wondering if my current visa expiry, which is due mid-next year, will affect my parents application for visitor visa as regards to number of years and multiple/single entry.

Is it advisable to get the my H1 visa extended before applying for my parents visitor visa???

Yes. Wait.
The reason ; consular may argue with your parents that if your extension is denied, you will be coming home in July anyway.

Thanks Peace! Do you have any idea how much time does it take to get the H1-B extension after applying for the same. Though my company will be applying for the same, but having an idea of the same would be great.
