My husband is going to sponser my father since I just started working (abt 1 month ago). I would like to know if I should click on Partially dependent/ wholly dependent in pt 8. Also if I clicked on partially dependent wouldn't that make the CO raise the qt how come I am partially dependent and if I work? So would it be better if I just clicked on wholly dependent. Do i have to sent my docs too like pay stub for the 1 month that i have worked. please advice

Hi I just faced your situation. I have a h1 and my husband sponsered for my parents visa. We made a mistake of not sending my h1 copies or my paystubs and so on. After getting my h1 I dint go back to India, so I dint have it stamped on the visa. So apparently the VO thought that I have been working illeagaly and rejected my parents visa. (We ticked on the Partially dependent)
It is advisable to tick on the partially dependent if you are working and also send all the necessary documents.

It does not really matter whether you select 'partially dependent' or 'wholly dependent'.
This question is not even related to sponsoring visitors visa. I-134 was early used even for sponsoring relatives' green card. That question does not even make sense anymore. Now, form I-864 is used for sponsoring green card. But as you know with everything else, USCIS has not changed the form since then.
However, as you are working, you should select 'partially dependent'.Immihelp Support
