My mom went for the interview, she was just asked
Who lives in US ?
Who lives here in India ?
How long is it that your husband passed away ?
Well, ok see you.
He hasn't collected the DD for issuance fee
not has the VO said anything else, like will issue visa or have rejected or anything.
My mother has asked what abt the DD, he just said that is ok.
But she has seen the same thing happen for all the parents before her and after her interview, nobody dd seems to be collected. But they haven't returned her passport too.
Any idea what this means guys, Pls let me know.

It means she got her visa if the passport was retained by the consular officer. The passport will be returned by courier to the address she gave when she booked her appointment.

The Demand Draft was returned because as of yesterday (8th) the Embassy and Consulates have emlimated the $50 Visa Issuance Fee for Indians.
