Question on visitor visa for my parents

My current H1-B visa expiring on Dec 14,2006.I already applied for H1-B Extesion from same company.I am waiting for EAC receipt number.My parents have appointment date on Dec 1st for visitor visa and I m sponsoring them.My Parents already got visitor visa first time for 6 months and they visited US 2 years before.This is their second time visa.I don't have the H1b approval extension paper right now.Is there any problem for my parents visitor visa on Dec 1st, I will give them EAC number(Receipt) which is a proof of that I already applied for H1-B extension.This time my parents want multiple visa because it is their second time going for visa.Is consulate has problem for giving mutiple visa because of above descibed situation ?

As long as you show the proof of your legal status in US, there is no problem. In your case, the proof would be the copy of your extension filing receipt notice.

Also, your situation has nothing to do with whether they will get 10 years visa or 6 months visa. It depends upon the officer.
