  • Visitor Visa - Courier fees

    Hi

I have a confusion about DD for courier charges. It may sound idiotic to others...but I am really confused on this.

Do we need to take a separate DD for VFS courier charges for an amount of Rs.310?

When I took a DD/Receipt for Visa application fee for Rs.4800 I already paid an amount of Rs.280 (in the month of Sep,2006).And it showing separately in the HDFC pink receipt at the bottom.

Whether these 2 are same or different? do I need to take a separate DD for VFS courier charges? I have an appointment in the last week of Nov.

    Appreciate yor help!!!

    Thanks
    Geetha

they increased the courier fee to 310/- effective from oct 01. you are not affected as you had purchased HDFC receipt before oct 01.
this fee can be paid by cash also...

I am also in the same situation. My parents also took their appointment in the month of September and they paid Rs.4800 + Rs.280.

RamKumar, you have mentioned in your reply that "this fee can be paid by cash also..." Does this mean that they need to pay the Rs.310 (VFS Service Charges) again on their interview date? If so, if my parents take DD then to whom should they address it?

Or are they fine with the already paid amount before taking the appointment?
